Maintenance/Trouble Shooting for Spa Water

Cloudy Water

Suspended Particulate matter can cause cloudy water. To keep the water sparkling clear, treat weekly with Spa Life Super Clarifier with the system running. If cloudy water is a constant problem, check TA, CH, and PH levels and bring into balance.

1. suspended particles - Add Spa Life Super Clarifier
   
2. Build-up of organic contaminants - Shock treatment with Spa Life Clor
   
3. Total Alkalinity too high - Add Spa Life PH Minus until TA is within 100 - 150 ppm
   
4. Hardness too high - Add Spa Life Secure
   
5. PH too high - Adjust PH using Spa Life PH Minus until 7.4 - 7.8 ppm
   
6. Poor Filtration - Check Filter and rinse. Clean if filter looks green or blue with Filter Free if necessary. If the filter is clean and the cloudiness does not clear up you may have to increase the filtration cycle of the spa.
   
7. High TDS - If you keep your water too long the amount of Total Disolved Solids gets too high. It may be necessary to drain and clean spa and refill. Water should be changed every 3 to 4 months for a healthy spa environment.

Quite a few hot tub, spa and pool owners acquired them through the purchase of a house. They were included in the deal. If you are one of these lucky people and now are scratching your head wondering how to maintain the water don't be alarmed. We have information booklets to help guide you through. Clean and Healthy water is of the utmost importance and is relatively simple to maintain.

Not only is clean and healthy water important for your body it is extremely important so that your equipment does not errode prematurely. Unbalanced water can cause problems with your pump seals and heating elements to wear out sooner.

Education is the key to being able to fully enjoy your hot tub, spa or pool experience without frustration.

Hot Tub Covers

All of our Spa Covers are Custom Handcrafted items and locally manufactured.

We provide covers for spas or hot tubs that are used indoors and outdoors. High quality interior foams and reinforced with 16 guage aluminum and wrapped in 4 ml poly. Marina material - Fire Resistant, Mildew Resistant, Crack Resistant to minus 20 degrees F. Nice choice of twelve different colors available.

We carry replacement filters, Filter cleaner, bromine & chlorine dispensers, three and five way test strips, complete test kits and test reagents. We also provide water testing should you require any assistance with water chemical balancing.

Zorbie's, pool toys, lil sucker drink holders, massagers, floating water activitated flowers that light up. There are quite a few different products and toys that can be great gifts for friends and families.

Lil Sucker drink holders are so unique. They don't have to be used specifically for spa or pool use. Customer's use them at home and office specifically around computers so that accidental spills won't harm expensive computer equipment.

inSPAration - Spa Scents and Fragrances make your hot tub, spa or even your bath more exciting and relaxing providing you with an aroma to please your senses. Scents like "April Showers", "Cucumber Melon", "Rain", "Forest Breeze", are just a few of the Twenty-nine Scents available.

inSPAration - Spa Pearls (Crystals) are also available to make your spa or bath water a more relaxing atmosphere. Scents available are: Amaretto, Freesia, Kiwi, Razzberry, Serenity, Passion Flowers, Citrus Splash, Caribbean Nights & Apple Pear.

inSPAration - also has After Spa Hand & Body Lotion in addition to After Spa Body Mists. The Body Lotion and Mists are a wonderful, after spa or bath product, to remoisturize your skin. These are available in Vanilla Twist, Rain, Cucumber-Melon, Spaberry, April Showers and Coconut Mango (my favorite).

Test Strips, Test Kits, Thermometers, TDS Test Strips are all available. If you require, we provide water testing, for your convenience to help balance your water if you need assistance.

Spa Life provides all water balancing chemicals you need to ensure you have clear, sanitized and healthy spa water.

Sanitizing Mini pucks are available in both Chlorine & Bromine. The mini pucks are very economical and convenient to use. Simply use a Floating Dispenser to maintain your sanitizer level in your pool or spa. Using a dispenser ensures that you do not run out of sanitizer and will help to maintain clean, healthy water. We also carry Tru-Blue Genesis for Sodium Bromide Generators and Sodium Bromide Test Strips.

We also carry the complete line of Aqua products for your swimming pool. Pool covers, toys, ladders, pumps and other accessories are also available.

Aqua Super Pucks are available in various size pails for your convenience. (1 kg, 4 kg, 7 kg and 20 kg size pails). Sanitization is most important to ensure clean and healthy water. Character dispensers are also available including "Great American Derby Duck, and Turbo Turtle. Nothing wrong with a little character!
